Meet Altar Stone

Alongside the books, I make music under the name Altar Stone.

The songs grow out of many of the same questions that shape my writing: What do we trust? What do we hold onto when life gets difficult? How does faith take shape in the choices we make?

Altar Stone gives those questions a different voice. The music can be heavy, reflective, and cinematic, with room for both conviction and an unresolved prayer. Scripture is foundational to the work, and Jesus Christ is central to it.

The purpose is simple:

“Jesus Christ is the subject. Scripture is the foundation. Worship is the purpose.”

If you’re new to the music, start with Come and See, the featured listening track on the site. Then watch The Vapor, which has its own lyric video.

You can explore more of Altar Stone through the YouTube, Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon Music links on the Music page. I’ll share more about the songs and the work behind them here along the way.
